"Homecoming Misconceptions"
2-9-18 acrylic and oil on 16"x20"canvas board
Time for the nose ship to sail away while a face begins to form. I always paint some form of clock and I tribute this selection of time piece to Dali. I am surrounded by 400 year old grandfather clocks and always incorporate time into the painting.

2-7-17 *I fixed the linear perspective on the Oxford, enlarged Union Station, and added some shading..
ORIGINAL POST: 1-4-2015 Here is my favorite street in Denver of the Oxford hotel built in 1891 with the train station in the distance. I wanted the old time feel so I painted it in a black and white gray scale. Located in the Oxford is The Cruise Room which was re-decorated in 1933 after a bar on the Queen Mary Luxury Liner, looks exactly the same as it did back in the day, and is one of my favorite bars in the world.
Way to go Colorado!
